About LAT Nitrogen Ottmarsheim:

LAT Nitrogen Ottmarsheim is composed of people driven by a safety culture, committed to respecting the environment, and convinced that the company's competitiveness relies on the safety and reliability of its installations, the professionalism of its staff, and the continuous improvement of its performance.

Located in Alsace, in the port area of Mulhouse-Rhin at the heart of the Three Borders (France-Germany-Switzerland), the LAT Nitrogen Ottmarsheim site was founded in 1969.

The site produces nitrogen fertilizers for agriculture. The manufacture of these fertilizers requires the production of industrial intermediates such as ammonia and nitric acid.

These products, used as raw materials in other industries, are also marketed by the site.

With a workforce of nearly 200 employees, the Ottmarsheim site has a production capacity of about 1 million tons per year (all products combined). The factory's production units operate continuously. The activities generate 300 to 500 indirect jobs.

The Ottmarsheim site is classified as a SEVESO Upper Tier site.
